Our workshops allow you to develop skills, create new relationships, discover insights, and and explore aspects of yourself you may not have explored before.

We use a range of creative media to explore the themes and offer you the opportunity to come to a deeper understanding of yourself through this exploration. We offer weekend and five-day retreats at beautiful venues in the UK.

Spirituality and the Feminine
Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May 2025
Middlethorpe Hall Hotel and Spa, York
This weekend retreat is an opportunity for you to explore your relationship to Spirituality and the Feminine in a safe, beautiful, creative environment.
We will use the body, dance and movement; music; vocalisation; visual art; story; objects; writing and the natural environment as media of exploration.
We will integrate approaches drawn from Psychotherapy; Anthropology; the Creative Arts Therapies; Dance, Movement and Yoga,
Cost - £325 which includes lunch, refreshments and access to the Spa facilities and beautiful National Trust gardens

Weekly Psychotherapy Group
In this weekly Psychotherapy group we explore our emotions and the way in which we might hold these emotions within ourselves and why we might do this. We also look at our relationship to ourselves and others, how we show ourselves to others, how we do or do not listen to ourselves; and the impact of these relationships on our lives and life choices.
The group is ongoing and is held weekly on a Wednesday from 2-4pm in York.
The cost is: £80/session/person

Women's Group
The Women’s Group is a monthly group for women to have space to connect with themselves and explore areas in their lives that they may be struggling with. This may include life or work transitions, loss and grief, illness, changes in relationships with Self and/or others.
The Women’s Group is a safe, creative, supportive environment in which to explore areas of vulnerability with others.
We use talking alongside work with the body and movement, vocalisation and singing, drawing and making, story, writing, and nature to facilitate connection , understanding and the potential for change.
The group is ongoing and is held in York monthly on a Tuesday from 11am-2pm.
The cost is: £95/session

Movement Explorations
The Movement Explorations Group, is a monthly group for psychotherapists.
The group offers participants the opportunity to connect with themselves through the body and movement; and reflect on personal material that may be present alongside or arising in relation to clinical work.
The group is ongoing and is held in York monthly on a Sunday from 10am-1pm.
The cost is: £95/person/session

Care Free Space Group
The Care Free Space group is a Creative Arts Psychotherapy Group for Family Carers of People with Dementia.
The group is a collaboration between Harrogate-based Dancing for Well-Being and the The Centre for Movement and Creative Arts in Psychotherapy.
The group is ongoing and is held monthly in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.
